Grace Almanza, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 92 in Guadalupe, Arizona. She was born on May 8, 1933, to her parents Alfredo and Sonia.

Grace was a loving spouse to Jerry for 73 years, although he often joked that it felt more like a prison sentence. Together, they raised 6 children: Irma, Valerie, Jose, Mark, Daniel, and Marie. Grace loved her children dearly, even when they drove her to the brink of insanity (which was often).

Grace also leaves behind 10 grandchildren who will miss her homemade cookies and unlimited supply of cough drops but are secretly relieved they won't have to endure any more of her embarrassing stories.

Grace had a passion for sightseeing and sewing, often combining the two by getting lost in fabric stores in foreign cities. She was known for her impeccable taste in fabrics, as well as her inability to actually finish any sewing projects.

Grace passed away from natural causes, surrounded by her family who will miss her infectious laugh, endless love, and uncanny ability to find humor in even the darkest of situations.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the local yarn store in Grace's memory so they can finally clear out her extensive stash of unfinished quilts.
