Grace Allen, born on January 20, 1954, in Reidsville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, in her hometown of Reidsville. She was 72 years old.

Grace dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of others. Her passion for education and her unique ability to make learning both fun and meaningful left an indelible mark on her students. Many of them were so inspired by her joy and dedication that they chose to follow in her footsteps, becoming teachers themselves. Grace’s influence extended far beyond the classroom, shaping not only minds but also futuresGrace is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tari Allen and Tai Allen of Reidsville, North Carolina; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carlyon Williams and Danny Williams; and her husband Mark Allen of Lexington, North Carolina. She also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Dajour Allen, Tiana Tatum, Timothy Williams, and Kiana Wight.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21st at 1:00 PM at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home Inc., with Rev. Gerald A. Harris, Rev. Tippy Price, and Brother Byron Hargett officiating. Burial will follow at Greenview Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit prior to the service from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home Inc.

Grace’s legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness, passion for teaching, and unwavering faith. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
