We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Glynn Sproles of Rayville, Louisiana. Born on October 29, 1950, Glynn finally decided to retire from this crazy thing called life on January 16, 2025.
Glynn lived a full and adventurous life, which can be attested by the chaos caused by their six children: Johnny, Michael, Kevin, James, Marty, and Tara. Somehow, despite all odds, Glynn managed to survive the madness and even found time to spoil their nine grandchildren.
Known for their quick wit and infectious laughter, Glynn could always be counted on to lighten the mood in any situation. Their love for practical jokes was legendary, and many of us are still finding rubber chickens hidden in random places around town.
Glynn had a passion for fishing and could spend hours out on the water, regaling anyone who would listen with tales of the one that got away. They also had a sweet tooth like no other and could never resist a good slice of pecan pie.
Although Glynn may no longer be with us in person, their memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them. So here's to Glynn Sproles - may you rest in peace, surrounded by endless amounts of pecan pie and good fishing spots. You will be dearly missed.
You can to the family or in memory of Glynn Sproles.
