We are saddened to announce the passing of Gloria Bingham, who left us on January 17, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on February 1, 1953, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Harold and Henrietta Taylor.

Gloria was a loving wife to Charles Bingham for 52 years and a devoted mother to her two daughters, Shirley Bingham and Roxane Bingham Louis, who is survived by her spouse Dwayne Louis. She was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

Gloria attended Washington Carver High School and graduated in 1969. She went on to work at Loyola University where she made many lifelong friends.

One of Gloria's passions was designing Indian costumes, a hobby that brought her great joy and fulfillment.

Gloria will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and infectious laughter. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Gloria. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
