GLORIA AYALA EAST CHICAGO, IN Gloria Ayala, age 70, resident of East Chicago, IN passed away October 26, 2016. Gloria was born on March 24, 1946 to Juan and Josefina Ayala in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She was pre- ceded in death by her parents Juan and Josefina Ayala, sisters Genoveva, Maria Ayala, and brother Juan Ayala Jr. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and special friend to many. She was a loving mother to Josephine (Sherwyn), Irma (Javier), Maria (Antwon), and Anahisa. As an amazing grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren, she lived her life as a loving, caring, giving, and an avid worshipper at House of Hope. Viewing will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at House of Hope 1845 Stanton Ave, Whiting, IN at 5:30 p.m. with commemoration services to follow. Interment Services Saturday November 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. At House of Hope and Final Burial following at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Professional Services entrusted to Powell Coleman Funeral Home.
