We are sad to announce the passing of Gloria Smith on December 14, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the age of 92. Born on August 29, 1932, Gloria lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by her loving family.
Gloria was the beloved wife of Fayvion Smith, whom she married in 1971. Together they raised three wonderful children: Susan, Jan, and Douglas. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.
Gloria was a graduate of Harding High School, class of 1951. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and kind heart. Gloria had a passion for gardening, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving children and seven grandchildren, Preston Smith, Austin Smith, Destiny Glover, Mark Fox Jr, Emma Smitand Caleb Smith. Gloria will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
May she rest in peace, reunited with her parents Janny and David Smith, in the arms of the angels.
