Glinda was born on October 18, 1942 in Lyford, TX to D.D. and Viola Woods.She worked for General Dynamics until her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Harlingen. Glinda will be most remembered for her kind and generous spirit, her outgoing personality, and her deep love for God, her family and her friends.Glinda is survived by her sons, Raymond Johnson, Jr. and wife Sandi from Ooltewah, TN, Leonard Johnson and wife Pam from Harlingen, TX and David Johnson and wife Kristy from Riverside, TX; 6 grandchildren, Travis Johnson (Kim), Kayla Blackmon (Matt) Amanda Johnson, Valerie Johnson, Justin Johnson, and Corey Lutz; 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor Johnson, Carson Johnson and Mason Blackmon; and favorite nephew, David Hall and wife Lynda from Harlingen.Memorial services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brandon Helm officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Calvary Christian School, Harlingen, TX.You are invited to sign the guestbook or share a memory at www.buckashcraft.com.Arrangements are with Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
