Glennie Arizona MillerVonore, TNGlennie Arizona Miller (Zonie), age 94, widow of Erskin (Erk) Miller, of Vonore, passed away at 7:05 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center, surrounded by family. she was born on September 2, 1922, in Monroe Co., and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Vonore O.E.S. #383. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by sons, James Allen (Toodie) Miller and William Thomas (Tom) Miller; granddaughter, Tammy Miller; parents, John and Bessie Gray; sisters, Vera (Tip) Arp, Lucy Shirk, Modeanie (Dean) Stewart, Reanell (Nell) Miller; brothers, Hubert and Luther Gray. Survivors include daughter, Helen West, of Vonore, grandchildren and spouses, Chris and Natalia Miller, of Odessa, MO, Tonya and Chris White, of Vonore, Shannon and Chris Austin, of Kennesaw, GA, Kelly Morton and partner, Farshid Fahandeza, of Acworth, GA; great-grandchildren, Sara and spouse John Trussell, Jordan Carroll, Haden Morton, Mei Lea and Ciana White, Seth and Eli Austin, Jack, Bella, Keelan and McCoy Miller; daughter-in-law, Polly Miller, of Vonore; and several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, in Madisonville. Eastern Star service will be held at 7:45 PM Saturday, provided by Vonore O.E.S. #383. The service will be at 8 PM Saturday, at Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Self officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
