Demel, Glenn D. 57, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016. Glenn was born on March 28, 1959. Glenn wore many hats during his life, including small business owner of A-Z Home Improvement, farmer, salesman and loving father. He spent his married life near Oxford enjoying his family and being involved with 4-H and farming. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome "Jerry" A. Demel. Glenn is survived by his daughters, Jessica Flint and (Brian) of Douglass and Katie Harrington (Durell) of Wellington; mother, Geneva Demel of Rose Hill; brothers, Mike Demel (Jaryl) of El Dorado and James Demel (Karen) of Douglass; sisters, Joyce Standfast (Brian) of Leon, Susan Clem (Jerry) of Augusta and Paula Theisen of Andover; dear friend Shirley Doramus of Wichita; grandchildren, Gavin and Charlotte Flint, KyLynn, DaRae and DaRiah Harrington. Rosary 7 pm Tuesday at Headley Funeral Chapel and Funeral Mass 10 am Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta.
