Hofschield, Glendoris "Glennie" A.Glendoris "Glennie" A. Hofschield, 91, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin passed away into the arms of our Lord on February 11, 2017 at Morningside Health Center. Glendoris was born on January 5th 1926 in Sheboygan, WI to the late Walter and Louise (Guelzow) Weiske.Glendoris attended St Paul's Lutheran School, and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1944. Glendoris worked for the State of Wisconsin in the unemployment compensation department. On May 24, 1947, Glendoris was united in marriage to Monroe C. Hofschield at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1984. Together, they were charter members of the Lutheran Braille Workers. Glendoris was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, attending Bible class, Mary Martha Guild, and the 60+ Club.Glendoris is survived by her children Steven (Kathleen) Hofschield, Jane (Gene) Leonhard of Sheboygan, Kathryn Hofschield of Northbrook, Illinois, and Mark (Kim) Hofschield of Roseville, California; four grandchildren John (Sherry) Leonhard of Sheboygan, Anne (Jeremy) Luedtke of Hobart, WI; Austin Hofschield, and Katie Hofschield of Roseville, CA; and six great grandchildren, Jacob and Matthew Leonhard and Hannah, Hailey, Brady, and Kelli Luedtke; and also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Darleen Johnson.Family and friends may call at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 917 Mead Avenue, Sheboygan on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the church with Reverend James Schulz officiating. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery.
