Glenda Morris, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away in 2025. Born in 1968, Glenda lived a life full of compassion, laughter, and generosity. Her warm heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone she met.
Glenda graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit, Michigan, in 1986 and earned her nursing degree from Madonna University in 1991. She pursued her calling as a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Hospital, where she dedicated many years to caring for patients with skill, patience, and kindness. She retired in 2022 after a remarkable career marked by excellence and compassion.
In 1975, Glenda married her soulmate, Derrick “Toni” Morris. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared joy. Glenda’s exceptional talent for cooking and her warm hospitality made her home the heart of family gatherings, holidays, and celebrations.
Glenda’s generous spirit extended beyond her home. She volunteered in her local church, offering comfort, support, and encouragement to those in need. She lived a life of service, faith, and love that left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Though she had no children of her own, Glenda was a cherished mother figure to her many nieces and nephews. She celebrated their successes, guided them with wisdom, and offered unconditional love.
Glenda’s laughter, her caring nature, and her ability to make everyone feel special will be remembered forever. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Derrick “Toni” Morris, and her devoted nieces and nephews.
