On the fateful morning of October 12th, 2022, Gladys Williams drew her last breath. She was 72 years old.

Gladys was born Gladys Mauriann Washington in Kentwood, Louisiana, on January 1st, 1950. She was born to Frank Washington and Marylee Washington. She was the older sister to Gloria Washington. Gladys attended Amite High, where she met the love of her life, Levi Williams. With this union, came three children: Joyce Williams, Courtney Williams, and Levi Williams II. They were married for many years, until Frank passed in 2002 due to colon cancer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed. 

She was survived a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death with her son Levi, her husband Frank, and her parents. May she rest in peace.
