Gladys A. Schildwachter, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2016. Service: Private services will be held at a later date. Gladys Adeline Clark, the daughter of William Clark and Adeline Clark, was born on July 16, 1923, in New York City. She grew up in the New York area where she attended high school and graduated from Hunter College. She was united in marriage to Frederick H. Schildwachter in 1946. Gladys and Fred lived for many years in New York and, after retirement, moved to Texas. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; her parents; and two brothers. Survivors: Daughter, Susan Tremain (Raymond) of Southlake; son, Frederick Schildwachter (Nancy) of Johns Island, S.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
