We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Gladys Holmes, who was born on July 5, 1955 in Sylvania, Georgia. She peacefully passed away on May 15, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gladys was a beloved member of the Sylvania community, known for her infectious laughter and unwavering optimism. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Jessie Mae Holmes, and a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren.

Gladys touched the lives of all who knew her with her kind heart and generous spirit. She had a passion for gardening and could often be found tending to her flowers in the yard. She also enjoyed baking and always had a fresh batch of cookies ready for anyone who stopped by for a visit.

Although Gladys will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and watching over us from above. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
