REESE, GLADYS INEZ Gladys Inez Reese, 83, of Hamden, passed away on Nov. 25, 2016. She was born on Oct. 10, 1933 in Anderson, SC, to the late Raymond F. Gambrell and Irene Owens and was the wife of the late William Reese. Gladys leaves to cherish her memory, sisters, Geneva Harris, Corine Gambrell and Elouise Burton, goddaughter, Carolyn Lausane and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. She was predeceased by one son, Richard Allen Reese, and siblings, Raymond Jr., Houston, William, Marion Lee, Mammie Gambrell and Mary Washington. A celebration of life will be held Thurs. Dec. 1, 2016 at 11 a.m at Good Shepard Holiness Church, 27 W. Read St., New Haven, CT. Calling hours 10 a.m until time of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
