On Friday February 17,2023 Gladys P Greene , a loving mother, wife and grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 92.

Gladys was born October 17, 1930 in Henderson Texas to Monroe Medford and Easter Medford. To this union, thirteen children were born.

Gladys accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

She became a member of Bible Way to Calvary Full Gospel Church in 1987, under the leadership of Pastor Bernice Jackson.

She worked for the city of Dallas until 1983. She received her barber‘s license from Graham‘s Barber College. Cutting hair was her passion and she did it until her body would not allow her to stand anymore.

Gladys is survived by three siblings Ruth Hazel Medford, Kenneth Medford and Thomas Medford; daughters, Ophelia Mouton (Jeffrey), Sonya Harmon; 7 grandchildren, Christopher (Whitney), Breana, Kevin (Lisa), Kiana, Lysundra (Steve), Tasha, and Dewayne; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Gladys loved her family and good home cooking, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and reading her bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Easter Medford ; husband, Alonzo Greene; 9 siblings; and daughters, Regina Jones and Frances Jones.
