It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gina Quiñones, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Gina was born on September 13, 1964, and peacefully departed this world on August 14, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Gina was the cherished daughter of Paul E. Linetty and Helen I. Linetty (nee White). She was known for her caring nature and selflessness, always putting others before herself. Her kind heart touched the lives of many throughout her career in the healthcare industry.
Gina worked tirelessly in nursing homes and as a home health care aid, providing compassionate and dedicated care for those in need. Her unwavering commitment to helping others was a testament to her character and the impact she made on the lives of countless individuals.
Gina was once married to Herminio Quiñones, and together they built a beautiful family. They were blessed with four children; Jessica Quiñones, Rafael Quiñones, Monica Quiñones, and Herminio Quiñones Jr. Jessica is married to Andrew (Andy) Mentz, Monica is married to Jadiel (Jay) Muniz, and Herminio Jr. is married to Natalie Quinones (nee Butcher). The love Gina had for her children and the joy they brought her was immeasurable.
Furthermore, Gina was a proud grandmother. She adored her eight grandchildren, whose names we respectfully withhold in this obituary. Their presence in her life filled her heart with joy and gave her immense happiness. Her legacy of love will forever live on through these beautiful souls - David, Alysa, Leilani, Andrew Jr., Allen, Nevaeh, Rosalina, and Giovanni.
Gina was also a loving big sister to Lisa Larson (nee Linetty). Her caring spirit extended to her extended family, as she embraced her role as an aunt to many and a friend to many more.
As we gather to bid farewell to Gina Quiñones, we remember her with love and gratitude for the immense impact she had on all who were privileged to know her. Her presence will forever be missed, but her memory will continue to inspire us to live a life of compassion, empathy, and selflessness.
