LouisvilleCamp, Gertie Mae,Gertie Mae Camp, 71, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, Nov 4, 2017, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. She was born on Feb. 24, 1946, in Ohio County to the late Jess Baggarly and Ruby Leisure Baggarly. Gertie was a former employee of Tyson Foods and Walmart.Gertie was known to have a green thumb, she enjoyed flowers and plants. She also enjoyed crocheting and helping others. Gertie had a servant's heart. She also was preceded in death by her son, David; and three brothers, Glendon, Jimmy, and Tommy Baggarly. She is survived by her children, Pricilla (Mike) Gillespie of Louisville, Johnnie Burden and Terry (Tawnya) Burden all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jerry Gillespie of AL., Alisha (Earl) Thompson of WV, Christopher and Chance Burden of GA, Nicole Burden of Owensboro, and one Step Granddaughter, Amanda of Owensboro; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Baggarly of Owensboro; two sisters, Frannie Mosley of Owensboro and Pat (David) Gremlin of Jeffersonville, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Mrs. Camp will welcome friends after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
