Gerda was born on June 06, 1987. A mother to Sarah and Reggie Baptiste, passed away on January 13th, 2024after a long battle with breast cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Port Saint Lucie, surrounded by family and close friends.

Known for her humor and passion for writing, Gerda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Gerda’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by Sarah-Angelina, Reggie and her siblings: Rodney, Ashley, and Mariah.

A private ceremony will be held at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Cremator on January 26th, 2024. The family will receive friends there at 7pm. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
