GERARD "GERRY" R. CUSSON Gerard R. "Gerry" Cusson, age 73, beloved husband, father, uncle and friend, passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at home with his wife Susan, his niece, Denise and her husband Richard by his side. He was born on January 29, 1943 to George and Leona Cusson in Central Falls, R.I. "Gerry touched so many lives near, far, past and present. He spent most of his life living in Rhode Island before making Mohave Valley, Ariz. his home 12 years ago. He had many life long passions for many things. He was thoughtful and kind in so many ways. He was a true and honest person and would always be honest about what was on his mind. He could always be counted on when someone was in need, something that he was always admired for". Gerry was the brother to the late Clarence Cusson, Walter Cusson, Arthur Cusson, Jeanette Loux, Teresa Cusson, and Madeleine de la Court. Gerry is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; six children, Girard Cusson, Steve Cusson, Todd Cusson, Melissa Bernard, Michelle Sorrentino and Michael Dunn; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and leaves behind many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church in Needles, Calif. His Cremation will be done by Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Mohave Valley, Ariz. At his request there will be no Mass or service done here in Ariz. or Calif. Arrangements and internment will be done in mid-spring of 2017 in Rhode Island, it will be small and private. Final resting place will be at Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI.
