Gerald Venson, Sr. also known as Ace was born May 13, 1972, to Maggie Johnson and Jon Venson. He departed this life on April 6, 2025.

Gerald attended Jesup W. Scott High School and graduated in 1990. He went on to pursue a career as an English Teacher, where he inspired countless students with his witty jokes and passion for literature.

When he wasn't shaping young minds, Gerald loved to grill until the meat was dry. His love and loyalty was immeasurable. He enjoyed eating, watching sports and news. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, 76ers, and Ohio Buckeyes. He was a die-hard fan, always dressed head to toe in the team's colors on game days.

On April 6, 2025, Gerald passed away due to heart disease. While he may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Gerald. We'll miss your jokes, your laughter, and your insatiable love for snacks.
