Gerald “Stonewall” Thomas was born on February 9, 1967, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late George and Valeria Thomas.

Gerald attended elementary school and graduated from Warren Central High School. He later earned his commercial drivers license and became a long haul truck driver.

Gerald transitioned on September 2, 2023, at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Gerald accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age.

Gerald was preceded in death by: his parents, George Thomas and Valeria Thomas; his sister Deloris Thomas; his grandparents Louis and Olivia Brady; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a special niece Jazmin D. Wright.

Left to cherish his memories are: four brothers Van Hudson, Harrol and Karrol (Tritrisha) Thomas, Glennial (LaTonya) Thomas, three sisters Dwan (Eddie) Henderson, Agazine Thomas, and Theresa Jones , all of Vicksburg, Mississippi. A host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends which include the Brown and Jefferson Family of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
