Closing Prayer

1 Thessalonians 4:13 Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].

1 Thessalonians 4:14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [in death].

Gerald has a wonderful future ahead here with us. Yes, as noted in the Bible Gerald has a guarantee of resurrection from God himself. But as noted in the book of John, Gerald will open his eyes like Lazarus. All those in memorial tombs and graves will come out to life again here with us, John 5:28&29; So Gerald will enjoy life under the kingdom rule where life will be lived as it was intended. Pain, sorrow, sickness and death will be no more, Revelation 21:3,4. It will be wonderful to see Gerald again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope the Bible's promise at Revelation 21:3, 4 will bring you comfort and hope during this difficult time. God promises in the very near future that he will wipe out all causes of pain and suffering, including sickness and death. At that time we also have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5:28, 29) We can be sure these promises will come true because they are promises from God, who cannot lie. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

To the Easter family. Please accept my deepest condolences. Mr Easter would always bring his warm and kind demeanor into the Karamu Br. it was always a pleasure to see him. May it comfort your hearts to know that he is safe in God's memory and in the promise he gives at Job 14:14,15 until then hold on to the precious time and the love you shared.

Gerald was a great friend to me and the Brandon family over the years and will be sorely missed by us and the community that he so graciously and willingly contributed to. His heart was as large as that great smile that I remember him sharing whenever I would see him. The entire Brandon family extends our sincere and heartfelt condolences and pray for your peace and Blessings.
