On May 22, 2025, the world lost a beloved soul in Gerald Bryant, of Savannah, Georgia.
Gerald was born on September 5, 1932, and spent his days making people laugh and spreading joy wherever he went.
He was a dedicated teacher who used his humor to make learning fun for his students. Gerald's witty jokes and infectious smile will be deeply missed in the classroom.
When he wasn't teaching, Gerald could be found on the basketball court, showing off his skills and coaching young players to greatness.
He also had a love for swimming and fishing and could often be found relaxing by the lake ad enjoying the water and the company of friends and family.
Gerald leaves behind his son, Derek, who all inherited his sense of humor and zest for life. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Dereka and Joe and his great-grandchildren, Matt, Brett, Sean, Lanea, Latavia, Larissa and Sandra, who will forever cherish the memories of their funny and loving grandpa.
Although we will miss Gerald dearly, we take comfort in knowing that he is now cracking jokes and spreading laughter in the great beyond.
You can to the family or in memory of Gerald Bryant.
