We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gerald Smith, who left this world on September 11, 2025, in a tragic car accident. Born on June 7, 1962, to Lou E White in Indianapolis, Indiana, Gerald lived a full and vibrant life.

Gerald attended Midview High School and graduated in 1980. He went on to further his education at Atterbury Job Corps, where he honed his skills and pursued his passions.

Throughout his career, Gerald worked at P.G.W Auto Glass, where he became known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Although Gerald had no children of his own, he was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many. His infectious laughter and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew him.

Gerald will be remembered for his love of good food, good music, and good company. He had a knack for making people smile and was always ready with a joke or a story to lift your spirits .

There will be a visitation held on Friday October 3, 2025, at 2pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 3pm located at Carter Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St
