Georgia Mae CampbellNewbury Park, CAGeorgia Mae Campbell went peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday morning December 2, 2016. She was surrounded by family and friends. Georgia was born on October 20, 1927, in Huntingburg, Indiana. After graduating from Huntingburg High in 1946, she was accepted into nursing school at the Nazareth School of Nursing in Louisville, Ky. It was there she met the love of her life, Cecil , and began a loving marriage that lasted over 50 years. Georgia worked for many years as a labor and delivery nurse. She loved "birthin babies!", and loved all children as evidenced by her hands-on involvement with her Grandchildren. Georgia loved Jesus, her family, adventure, hiking, animals and travel. She was a prayer warrior and caregiver for those in need. Georgia is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Stephen and Olga Campbell, Rebecca and Tim Casey, Douglas and Karen Campbell, and Janette and Robert Broughton, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Community Church, 5495 Via Roca, Westlake Village, Ca, on Saturday Dec. 10 at 10:30 am. Luncheon to follow.
