Derrion’s Poem:
Here lies a great man, a strong man.
A man among men
A man that had a beautiful soul
He will surely be missed.
He walked ahead of us and protected us.
He walked with his head held high and back straight
With his strength and pride next to him.
I say this with a heavy heart I love you father
and I will leave you with this
When we were little you knew everything,
as we got older you showed us everything.
Little by little you tried your damn best to give us
everything, in the end you was our everything
Derrick’s Poem:
My world is shattered
Not much can mend it
My brain is blown
Not much can fix it
Stars fall from the heavens
The sun hides it light
The sky fall piece by piece
Clouds swells until release
The earth floods
And things begin to die
Fear is free
And voices begins to cry
For savement and virtue
That only cast out in their minds
From afar a hand reached out
To gasp mine
It was you, you came to save
It was you, who came to mend
It was you, who stayed
And waited for us to come back
It was you, who was there when none was
And it was you, who loved and confront the void
As the flame rages down
Things begin to come clear
That you was there
That you was there
That you where here
