March 3, 1934-Nov. 23, 2016Mr. George William Bean, age 82, of Cleveland, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ga. Pastor Joey Pritchett and the Rev. Bobby Brown will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Nov. 29, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mr. Bean was born in Melrose, Mass., but grew up in Stoneham, Mass. He was born on March 3, 1934, to Malcom Russell and Lillian Knight Bean. He retired from General Motors, where he was head of the Accounting Department.
