Sparling, 90, of Kimball Twp., passed away on August 27, 2017.He was born on April 16, 1927 in Kimball Twp., son of the late Thomas and Rose Sparling.George married Joyce Sweet on January 20, 1951 in Sparlingville. She passed away on September 9, 2010.He served in the United States Army. He retired from New Haven Foundry and was a member of Columbus Bible Church.George is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Mac Gown; son, David (Cindy) Sparling; Daughter, Joanne (Robert) Etzel; daughter, Marylou (George) Lane; son, Dennis (Teresa) Sparling; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Dove; son, Michael Sparling and a grandson, Michael Sparling.Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Columbus Bible Church, 1770 Palms Rd. Rev. Woodrow Nelson will officiate.
