Deeg, III, 77, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at The University of Kansas Hospital.A memorial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October, 26 at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to family. George was born on November 3, 1937 in Wrightsville, the son of George S. and Helen Sweney Deeg. He married Georgia Hawkins in 1959. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Deeg; his children, Jon Deeg and Libby (Dan) Troxel, of whom he was extremely proud; and his two grandchildren, Ashley (Sean) Johnston and Jennifer Deeg.
