George Meade Holland, born on March 13, 1948 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on June 27, 2024 in Naples, FL. He was the beloved son of George Francis Holland and Christine Elizabeth Holland.

George is survived by his loving daughter Kristin Holland and her partner, Teresa Palana. He is also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Jakob Sloan, and Ethan Holland.

George dedicated his career to serving and protecting his community, working at the Collier County Sheriffs Department until his retirement in 2018 after 30 years of service. He also proudly served his country for two years in Vietnam in the Army.

George will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his community, and his unbelievable work ethic. He had a way to make anyone laugh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
