We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of George Evans, who left us on January 20, 2025, at the age of 92, due to Old Age.

Born on May 4, 1932, in St Louis, Missouri, George was the beloved son of George and Marlena Evans. He was married to his loving wife Sylvia in 1951, and together they raised three wonderful children, Rosie (spouse Charles), Jason (spouse Ronda), and Billy. George adored his family and was always happiest when surrounded by them.

George attended Booker T. Washington High School and graduated in 1944. He then went on to further his education at The University of New Orleans, graduating in 1954. George built a successful career as a Pastor and dedicated many years to serving his community before retiring in 1980.

George will be remembered for his warmth, quick wit, and infectious laughter. He had a knack for storytelling and could always be counted on for a good joke. George's positive outlook on life and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew him.

While we are heartbroken by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that George is now at peace. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May his memory live on in the stories we share and the love we continue to hold in our hearts.
