George Matheny, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2023, in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio.

George was a dedicated family man who cherished his role as a husband and father. He was a pillar of support and love, always there to lend a helping hand or offer words of wisdom. His family was his pride and joy, and his memory will forever live on in their hearts.

Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, George could effortlessly make anyone laugh. His jokes were legendary, and his comedic timing was unparalleled. As he goes home to be with his wife, Bettie, he leaves behind three sons, seven grandchildren, and two dogs.
