George M. Schwab, Architect and Teacher, Jenkintown, PA (formerly Fishtown) passed away on March 11, 2019 at the age of 72.

Son of Ruth V. and George J., George is survived by his wife Barbara, son George A., daughter-in-law Amanda, granddaughter Madeline, and his siblings: Steve, Mary, Bill, Liz, and John. Dear friend Dr. David Lowe’s remembrance: “Renaissance man, intellectual, artist, trusted dear friend. Devoted husband and father. Sports enthusiast. Lover of learning, music, nature, science, history, religion and art… anything of beauty. Courageous, trusting, appreciative and obedient lung transplant patient. I love you, George. I will miss you, George.”

The family has honored George's request to be cremated and will spread his remains in one of his favorite fishing spots, near Hancock, NY. There will be a celebration in his honor on Saturday May 18th. Please contact the family directly for details.
