George Laws was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 28, 1952. He was one of nine other brothers and sisters. 

George entered into the United States Army right after high school, where he served for 15 years. He also coached the local youth football an basketball team. In 1984 George traveled to California where he worked at the Mare Island shipyard until its closure.

George loved to help people never turning anyone away. He loved to pray for you an help you any way he can. When his plane landed he got on board and said goodbye to all. He went very peacefully. He fought a battle with courage an faith. He knew his father in heaven was in charge of his life here on earth.

George leaves behind two children, his oldest child Sonya Laws who resides in Littlerock, Arkansas; his son Michael Laws who resides in Vallejo, California.

George Laws may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Please keep his children and family in your much needed prayers.
