George Ryan, 84, of Dade City, Florida, passed on June 16, 2023, due to automobile related injuries. George was born on August 3,1938. He was born in the upper east side of Manhattan, and lived there for many years before relocating to Avenue D in Brooklyn. Longtime fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and used to sneak into watch the games. He almost became an umpire for major league baseball in 1970 but was rejected due to his glasses. Loved old movies especially John Wayne westerns. Had such a zest for life and was always remembered for lighting up everyone around him. He will be sorely missed. He is Preceded in death by his wife Gloria Ryan, Parents Jeremiah and Mary Ryan.
