It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Washington, who was born on August 7, 1967, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States. He passed away on September 25, 2024.

George was the beloved son of George Porter and Maude Washington. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. He is survived by his five children, Jermaine George Rogers, Maurice Stacy Rogers (spouse Carla Croc), Lorraine Lovelace Rogers, Marnita Netaila Blackwell Washington, and Jeremiah Blackwell Washington.

In addition to his children, George leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren.

George was a graduate of South Boston High School and went on to have a successful career at Cor Jen Management. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and listening to R&B music.

George's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
