George Burwell, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born on March 5, 1942 to Henry and Ann Burwell.

In 1968, George married the love of his life, Sue, and together they raised three children: Brian (spouse Laura), Penny (spouse Dave), and Wayne (spouse Michelle). He was a loving and dedicated father who cherished his family.

George worked as a welder for many years before retiring in 2002. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft.

Aside from his work, George had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking in his free time. He loved being surrounded by nature and often shared this love with his family.

George is survived by his beloved wife, children, and seven grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

There will be a private funeral service held with close friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
