Franzino, Genevieve A.Franzino, Genevieve A. Sorrentino Franzino, age 90, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Anthony Franzino, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2016 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side. Genevieve was born on October 4, 1926 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Patsy and Antoinette Sorrentino. She was a manager of Connecticut National Bank for several years and cherished spending time with family. Genevieve is survived by one son, Jeffrey T. Franzino and wife Peggy of CA, one daughter, Gayle A. Kuhn of Shelton, four grandchildren, Heather Breza and husband Jason, Kristine Amandolare and husband Bryan and Jessica Kuhn and partner Shawn MacArthur, and Jill Rouleau and husband Jared Synn, three great grandchildren, Anthony, Alexa and Savanna, one brother, Patsy Sorrentino Jr. and wife Ginny and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Anthony of 54 years, Genevieve was also predeceased by one brother, Anthony Sorrentino and one sister, Catherine Mazzeo. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery.
