It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Genetha L. Harding.
Genetha L. Harding was born on June 02, 1942 to Ralph S. and Marion A. Harding in Cambridge, Massachusetts. God called her home to rest in eternal peace on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Genetha went on to graduate from Sweetwater Valley High School in 1961. Thereafter she pursed a college degree from San Diego State University completing her studies in Psychology and Mathematics.
"Nita" as she was known to her loved ones. Over the years she found time to travel around the world visiting Barbardos the birthplace of her grandparents. For a period of time she was a loving wife, stepmother and daughter-in-law in the Turner family.
Genetha worked at the United State Post Office for 36 years and winning many of awards. Then also in the horse racing industry for 28 years. She was passionate most about her family and bringing forward the most positive change in people. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Genetha knew the Lord and attended church with family and friends often.
A kind soul known for her beautiful smile and compassionate spirit Nita will be forever missed.
Nita is survived by her sisters Jacqueline Hooks, Germaine Payne, her brother Joel Smith, a niece and a host of nephews.
