Gayle Peck, 84, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed on January 26, 2023. Gayle was born on October 23, 1938, In San Francisco, California. She was a graduate of Balboa High School. After graduation, Gayle served her country as a member of the Woman’s Army Corps. Gayle settled in Palo Alto California where she raised a family and was a much loved member of her community there. In 1995, Gayle moved to Chico California where she worked for Chico State and Do It Leisure. In 2023 Gayle and her family moved to Monticello Kentucky. She was welcomed by the kind people of her adopted state who appreciated her quilting talent and gracious warm demeanor.

Gayle was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Audrey Schreiber, sisters Nola Schreiber, and Sandy Petrovffsky.

Gayle is survived by her partner, Hal Wimmer, daughters Cindy Pereira, Audrey Marie Peck, son in law Jeff Pereira, Grandsons Bertin Chabot (Zoe) Paul Smith (Brittney) Julien Jenkins, and great grandson Bryson.
