Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, at 11:00 a.m. at The Bridge Bible Church, 12225 Stockdale Highway, for Gary Wayne Morse of Bakersfield, CA.Gary was born on October 9, 1940 to Dolar and Mildred Morse.Gary was an only child. He attended elementary schools in Lamont, then went on to East Bakersfield High School and graduated in the class of 1958 making many lifelong friends. Following graduation, he attended Bakersfield College, then was in the Army Reserves from Feb. 1960 - Jan. 1966.In 1964, Gary joined the KC Fire Department and retired in 1995. Gary loved the Fire Dept. and always said it was the best job he could have ever had. Gary had a love like no other for old cars and trucks. He loved restoring them and making them go fast. Gary was also a fan of any kind of car races.Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Dolar and Mildred. He is survived by the love of his life, Jan; children Brett (Stephanie) and Brandon (Corey).
