Gary was a Vietnam Veteran who served his country proudly. He previously worked with the US Postmaster for 30 years at the Watsonville Post Office, before his retirement.Gary is survived by his wife, Rita Johnson, son, Gabriel Johnson, step children, Julia, Tony and April, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who know him fondly as "Tata", along with 3 brothers, Jimmy, Berry and Alfred all of Apple Valley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Patricia Johnson.An Inurnment of ashes will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11am at the Central Coast Veterans Cemetery 2900 Parker Flats Rd Seaside CA  93955.Arrangements are entrusted to Healey Mortuary & Crematory/www.healeymortuary.com
