It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Deal, who left us on June 14, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. He was born on August 1, 1969, and brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Gary was a proud graduate of Fair Park High School, class of 1987. He excelled in his studies and made lifelong friendships along the way. He was known for his kind heart and infectious smile, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Outside of his academic achievements, Gary was a loving husband to Veronica Deal, whom he married in the year 20. Together, they raised three wonderful children - Germany Plater, Darius Deal, and one other. Gary was the ultimate family man, always putting his loved ones first.

In his spare time, Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, of whom he was incredibly proud. He shared his wisdom and humor with them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Gary's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he touched the lives of so many with his warmth and kindness.
