Haney, Gary AlanGary Alan Haney, 66, Greenleaf, died peacefully at home on Friday, May 12, 2017 surrounded by his wife, sons and family. He was born on May 11, 1951 in Battle Creek, Michigan, son of Melvin Haney and Jeanne (Curry) McClintic. Gary was proud to serve his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for many years as an Event Supervisor at the Brown County Arena and Expo Center, where he made many lasting friendships. He enjoyed many hobbies, his work with the Local 470 Stagehands, and adventures with his best friend Lee Larson. His biggest joy was his love of family and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Gary had a special relationship with his niece, Stacie Girling, who gave him the gift of life with a living kidney donation. Gary endured many health trials in the last 15 years, but through it all he maintained his big heart, awesome sense of humor, and a quiet strength from his Catholic faith.
