Gail L. McIver was born to Moses McIver and Helen Scales McIver on 05/27/1952 in Durham NC. She was preceded in death by her parents. Moses McIver and Helen Scales( McIver).

She attended Durham Public Schools. She graduated from Durham High School in 1970. She later received a certification in Fiber Optics. She started her work career at Durham Drapery and later finished up her work career at Nortel Networks where she worked for 25 years of service.

In 1986 Gail became one of Jehovah’s Witness where she served him faithfully until the end of her life. She has been an exemplary example of a faithful servant. Even during sickness she never let up in doing what was pleasing to Jehovah. She still remained steadfast in her preaching work, and at every one of her appointments she made sure to tell someone about Jehovah and his purpose. She knew that regardless of what happend on this side of the world, Jehovah had her. If you came in contact with GG, Kitty or Gail you were amongst a very special person. She loved deeply and would give the shirt off her back. She didn’t know a stranger. Everywhere she went you better believe she was going to see someone she knew. Her smile was contagious and would brighten up the room. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Her specialty was her banana pudding, lemon pound cake, and her delicious strawberry cake. We are eagerly awaiting the day when we can wrap our arms around her once again. Until then Rest up GG.

Gail leaves to cherish her memories Her one and only love of 50 plus years Donald Gulledge, daughter Keisha Gulledge Reid, sons Donnie Gulledge, and Torrey Gulledge(Jhaunell). Grandaughters Armani Reid, Victoria Gulledge, Lundyn Reid, and Raquel Gulledge.
