Gail Walter, of Woodridge, Illinois, passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 69. She was born on November 11, 1954 to Richard and Gertrude Bacigalupo at Hinsdale Hospital. She had 5 sisters Carol, Barbara, Mary, Betsy and Amy. Gail also had 3 brothers Richard, Robert and John.

Gail was a loving wife to her soulmate John Walter. They were married on December 8th,1973. They were married for 44 years until John's passing on April 25th, 2018.

Gail was a loving mother to her three children, Michael, William, and Robert. She was immensely proud of her children and their accomplishments.

She attended Downers Grove South High School and graduated in 1973. Gail worked as a waitress for 30 years before retiring in 2014.

In her free time, Gail enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. She had a green thumb and took great pride in her beautiful garden.

Gail will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She passed away due to complications of diabetes. May she rest in peace.
