Gail Johnson-Foster, 60, of Newark, New Jersey, departed from this physical earth on August 01, 2023. Gail was born on February 24, 1963 to both the late Herman M. Johnson and Mildred (Nellie) Gray-Johnson. Gail attended elementary school at Peshine Avenue school in Newark, New Jersey. She went to high School at Weequahic High School and also attended a few years of Union County Community college.

Gail worked as a server at a local lounge where she met the love of her life and late husband Glen Foster. Gail and Glen were inseparable from the time they met. The two joined each other in marriage in June of 2000, they were able to enjoy the rest of their marriage until his untimely death in December 2018.

Gail retained several jobs throughout her years working at Brantley Bros moving and storage Company, New Community Cooperation, St. James Church credit union, and Macys. 

She had many different talents including a special skill working with computers. Gail was always the life of the party. She was known for her special banana pudding during family gatherings and her special two -step. In her later years she moved to Chester, South Carolina to become a caretaker for her mother.

Gail leaves to cherish her memories: Her siblings, two of which preceded her in death Francis and Yolanda; 2 brothers, Herman Johnson (Doris) and Ronald Johnson (Tamesha); 3 sister-in-laws Dawn, Cheryl, and Charise (deceased); 1 brother-in-law (deceased); Two god children and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
