SPRINGETTSBURY TWP. Gabriel D. Nicolini, 85, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Chloe L. (West) Nicolini. They were married 56 years. Gabriel was born on November 15, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late Phillip and Lucia (Scognimaglio) Nicolini. He was owner of Trola-Dyne, Inc. in York from 1973 to 1987. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6353 The visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. James Menkhus, O.F.M. Cap as the celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. In addition to his wife, Gabe is also survived by three daughters, Gabrielle Griffith, wife of Robert L., of Chanhassen, Minn., Christina Dovel, wife of Charles, of Pasadena, Md., and Robin A. Herring, wife of Frank, of York; six grandchildren and four great-grandsons; two sisters, Emilia D'Anello of New Jersey and Jenny Gambal of Florida.
