This obituary is administered by:
Frieda Louise Taylor, 87, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2016. Her remains will be buried with her late son's ashes on a family plot at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, located at 701 N. 94 Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. A viewing will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10am, followed by a burial at 11am. Her family will host a Celebration of Life at Shadow Mountain Baptist Church, located at 17810 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill, CA 95037, on January 17, 2017. Frieda was born in Lead Hill, AR on January 15, 1929 to Rhuel and Opal Taylor. She moved with her parents and siblings to Kansas City, KS when she was very young. Eventually she graduated from Wyandotte High School, married her first husband, Bill Moles, and had her sons, Robert Moles and Kevin Moles. Frieda and her family relocated to Santa Clara County, California on June 14, 1963 and Frieda remained in the area until her death. Since her arrival in California, Frieda called Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, and most recently Campbell, home. Frieda returned to the Kansas City area in the 1990's for a Wyandotte High School 50-year reunion, during which time she met her second husband, Bob Troupe. The two had known each other as young children in Kansas, and had been living near each other in the San Francisco Bay Area for years without knowing it. They began dating upon their return to California and eventually married in 1997. Frieda is predeceased by her first husband, Bill, her second husband, Bob, her brother, Vernon Taylor, and her youngest son, Kevin. She is survived by her brothers; Don Taylor and Tom Taylor, her oldest son, Robert, her two daughters-in- law; Denise and Tesha, her second husband's daughter, Lynette, her seven grandsons; Brandon, Taylor, Christopher, Justin, Erik, Thomas, and Ryan, and her great-grandson, Luke – who was born only 15 weeks before her passing. According to one grandson, he had never seen her happier than the day she held her great-grandchild for the first time. Frieda loved her family, especially her babies. She was an amazing cook and a supportive mother. She enjoyed card games, board games, soap operas, baking, having her hair and nails done, and hosting friends and family.
